Hello!  Join us for a moss garden workshop with local artist Jessica Coleman.  What IS a moss garden, you ask?  A moss garden is a small garden-like artwork created with different types of preserved moss, ferns & leaves and anchored in a frame, a cloche or a small terrarium.  You can hang it on a wall, place on a shelf or display on a coffee table.  In our workshop you create your own piece of artwork from a selection of mosses and natural décor and assemble them in the display piece of your choice.  The natural décor is preserved so your piece of artwork has zero maintenance and will last a good 5-10 years. 

Jessica has been creating works of art with preserved moss for several years – she will be guiding us through the workshop and will also bring some additional pieces of her own as show and tell (and for purchase).

But wait, what makes a moss garden workshop better?  A glass of wine, pint of cider or beer…. Sip while you create.

Once we’ve finished crafting for the day stay with us a little longer and celebrate at our Artist’s Reception for Jessica and her newly installed artwork at The Pip.

The class price of $65pp includes all supplies for creating your own moss garden (to take home) and two glasses of wine.
